Description

A quick and flavorful oven-baked salmon recipe with a honey mustard glaze that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb salmon fillets (skin-on if possible)
  • 2.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1.5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 0.75 tsp kosher salt (divided)
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika (or sweet paprika)
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, 0.5 tsp of kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and lemon zest in a bowl.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and sprinkle with the remaining 0.25 tsp kosher salt.
  5. Spoon the honey mustard marinade over the salmon to ensure even coverage.
  6. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Marinate for longer for bolder flavor. Fresh ingredients enhance the taste.
