A delightful one-pot shrimp and crab alfredo that combines creamy sauce with the sweetness of seafood, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pot or deep skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broth and bring it to a gentle boil. Incorporate the fettuccine or linguine into the broth and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until al dente.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream until blended.
- Add the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use seafood broth instead of chicken broth. Always taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
