Description

A delightful one-pot shrimp and crab alfredo that combines creamy sauce with the sweetness of seafood, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pot or deep skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the broth and bring it to a gentle boil. Incorporate the fettuccine or linguine into the broth and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until al dente.
  3. Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream until blended.
  4. Add the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use seafood broth instead of chicken broth. Always taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
