Description

A comforting and creamy seafood pasta dish made with shrimp, crab, and fettuccine or linguine, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the crab meat and Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Incorporate the fettuccine or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp and crab for best results. Stir pasta occasionally during cooking to prevent clumping.
