A comforting and creamy seafood pasta dish made with shrimp, crab, and fettuccine or linguine, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup crab meat
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the crab meat and Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Incorporate the fettuccine or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp and crab for best results. Stir pasta occasionally during cooking to prevent clumping.
