Description

A comforting and easy recipe for creamy salmon pasta prepared in one pot, perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Flake the cooked salmon and add it to the sauce along with the drained pasta. Toss everything together to coat.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, add a splash of lemon juice. Consider using fresh herbs like dill for added flavor.
