A comforting and simple one pan dish featuring creamy sauce, tender pasta, and fresh tuna that brings back fond memories of family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the pasta and enough water to cover it. Bring to a boil and cook until al dente.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Lower the heat and add the drained tuna and heavy cream, stirring well.
- Sprinkle in the cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, you can add more heavy cream. Adjust cheese quantity based on personal preference. A splash of milk can help moisten leftovers when reheating.
