Crispy and flavorful Old Bay crab cakes that capture the essence of summer gatherings with every bite.
Ingredients
- 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Tartar sauce for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Old Bay seasoning, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Serve with tartar sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Chill the formed crab cakes for at least 30 minutes before frying to help them hold their shape better.
