Description

Crispy and flavorful Old Bay crab cakes that capture the essence of summer gatherings with every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Tartar sauce for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Old Bay seasoning, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  5. Serve with tartar sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Chill the formed crab cakes for at least 30 minutes before frying to help them hold their shape better.
