A delicious and simple garlic butter shrimp dish that combines fresh shrimp with aromatic garlic and butter, creating a delightful seafood experience.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, for a kick
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by peeling and deveining the shrimp, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Lower the heat to medium and add butter; let it melt completely.
- Place the shrimp in the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp turn pink, approximately 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
