Ingredients
- 2 black cod fillets
- 1/4 cup white miso paste
- 1/4 cup sake
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, sake, mirin, and sugar until smooth.
- Season the black cod fillets with salt and pepper, then coat them with the miso marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours (up to 48 hours is ideal).
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the fish from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
