Description

A refreshing and zesty dish made with fresh fish, vibrant vegetables, and tangy lime juice, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh fish (snapper or tilapia), diced
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeños, minced (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced fish and lime juice in a bowl. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to “cook” the fish.
  2. Add the red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeños to the fish mixture.
  3. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a firmer texture, you can let the fish marinate longer. Experiment with lime and salt ratios to find your perfect balance.
