Description

Rich and buttery Marry Me Salmon combines fresh salmon fillets with a creamy garlic-parmesan sauce, enhanced by sun-dried tomatoes, creating an extraordinary culinary experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (oil-packed for best flavor)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. In a heated skillet, add olive oil and butter.
  2. Place the seasoned salmon fillets into the skillet. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden crust forms.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  6. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, and dried basil.
  7. Pour the sauce over the seared salmon fillets in the skillet.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven, baking for about 15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Remove the skillet from the oven, garnishing the salmon with freshly chopped parsley.
  10. Serve the Marry Me Salmon hot, drizzling extra sauce over the fillets.

Notes

Experiment with fresh herbs or add a squeeze of lemon for brightness. For a spicy kick, try adding crushed red pepper flakes.
