Description

A delightful maple glazed salmon recipe that combines sweet and savory flavors, perfect for family gatherings or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a plate or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to an hour for better flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon on the prepared sheet, skin-side down, and bake for 12-15 minutes until flaked easily with a fork.
  4. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before drizzling any remaining glaze over the fillets. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Marination time can enhance the taste significantly.
