Ingredients
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a plate or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to an hour for better flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon on the prepared sheet, skin-side down, and bake for 12-15 minutes until flaked easily with a fork.
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before drizzling any remaining glaze over the fillets. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Marination time can enhance the taste significantly.
