Description

A delicious and simple recipe for maple glazed salmon that beautifully balances sweetness and savory flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix together the maple syrup, minced garlic, ground ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a crispier texture, consider broiling for the last few minutes of baking.
