Description
A delicious and easy maple glazed salmon recipe that combines sweet and savory flavors for an extraordinary dish.
Ingredients
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the pure maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Use a whisk to mix everything together until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a plate or in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to an hour in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- After baking, let the salmon rest for a few minutes. Drizzle any remaining glaze from the baking sheet over the fillets and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcooking the salmon and use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
