Description

A deliciously simple shrimp dish with a crunchy topping of garlic butter, panko, and Parmesan that brings a taste of the coast to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Toss until the shrimp are well-coated.
  3. Mix together panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes in another bowl to make the crispy topping.
  4. Place the coated shrimp on the baking sheet, spreading them in a single layer. Sprinkle the panko topping evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink and the topping goldens.
  6. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve with lemon wedges for a bright finish.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider marinating the shrimp in the garlic butter mixture for 15-30 minutes before coating them with panko.
