Ingredients
- Jumbo pasta shells, 12 ounce (340 g) s (340 grams)
- Lobster meat, cooked and chopped, 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams)
- Ricotta cheese, 1 cup (240 ml) (240 grams)
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded, 1 cup (240 ml) (113 grams)
- Parmesan cheese, grated, 1/2 cup (120 ml) (45 grams)
- Egg, 1 large
- Garlic, minced, 2 cloves
- Lemon zest, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams)
- Parsley, chopped, 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams)
- Salt, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (3 grams)
- Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1 gram)
- Olive oil, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
- Marinara sauce, 2 cup (480 ml) s (475 milliliters)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add the egg, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to the lobster mixture.
- Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the lobster and cheese mixture.
- Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish on top of the marinara sauce.
- Pour the remaining 1 cup of marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the shells are heated through and the top is slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
