Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells, 12 ounce (340 g) s (340 grams)
  • Lobster meat, cooked and chopped, 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams)
  • Ricotta cheese, 1 cup (240 ml) (240 grams)
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded, 1 cup (240 ml) (113 grams)
  • Parmesan cheese, grated, 1/2 cup (120 ml) (45 grams)
  • Egg, 1 large
  • Garlic, minced, 2 cloves
  • Lemon zest, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams)
  • Parsley, chopped, 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams)
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (3 grams)
  • Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1 gram)
  • Olive oil, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
  • Marinara sauce, 2 cup (480 ml) s (475 milliliters)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Add the egg, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to the lobster mixture.
  5. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  6. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  7. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  8. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the lobster and cheese mixture.
  9. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish on top of the marinara sauce.
  10. Pour the remaining 1 cup of marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  11. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  13. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the shells are heated through and the top is slightly golden.
  14. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
