Description

Indulge in a luxurious lobster pasta dish featuring Trader Joe’s langostino and tomato bisque. Treat your guests to this gourmet meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) Trader Joe’s Langostino Tails
  • 4 cups (960 ml) water
  • 2 cups (480 ml) chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) tomato bisque or tomato soup
  • 8 ounces (227 g) pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) grated Parmesan cheese, for serving


Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water and 2 cups of broth in a large pot.
  2. Cook 8 ounces of pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until translucent.
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Cook Trader Joe’s Langostino Tails for 3-4 minutes in the skillet.
  6. Pour in tomato bisque and heavy cream, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Simmer sauce for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Add pasta to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. If needed, add reserved pasta cooking liquid to adjust sauce consistency.
  10. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley.
  11. Serve pasta with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

  • Use vegetable broth for a lighter option.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
  • Enhance sauce with a splash of broth.
