Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) Trader Joe’s Langostino Tails
- 4 cups (960 ml) water
- 2 cups (480 ml) chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) tomato bisque or tomato soup
- 8 ounces (227 g) pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water and 2 cups of broth in a large pot.
- Cook 8 ounces of pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until translucent.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute.
- Cook Trader Joe’s Langostino Tails for 3-4 minutes in the skillet.
- Pour in tomato bisque and heavy cream, season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer sauce for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add pasta to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce.
- If needed, add reserved pasta cooking liquid to adjust sauce consistency.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley.
- Serve pasta with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
