- 1 Quart 2% Milk (946 ml)

- 1/2 Cup All-purpose Flour (60 g)
- 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Onion (60 ml)
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon (3 ml) Nutmeg
- 12 Ounces Grated Cheddar Cheese (340 g)
- 8 Ounces Cubed Mozzarella Cheese (226 g)
- 1 1/2 Pounds Cooked Beef Meat, Cut Into 1 Inch Dice (680 g)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 375°F to preheat.
- Boil the pasta in salted water, reducing the cooking time by 2 minutes from the package instructions.
- Thoroughly drain the cooked pasta.
- In a sturdy pot, melt the butter until it bubbles, then add the onion and sauté until it becomes tender.
- Incorporate the flour by whisking it into the mixture and let it cook for an additional couple of minutes.
- Gradually pour the milk into the buttery mixture, constantly whisking.
- Continue to cook on medium heat, frequently whisking, until the mixture thickens.
