Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) lobster tails (450 grams)
- 1/2 pound (227 g) scallops (225 grams)
- 4 tablespoon (60 ml) s unsalted butter (57 grams)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (15 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika (1 gram)
Instructions
- Thaw lobster tails and scallops if frozen, then pat dry with paper towels.
- Season lobster tails and scallops with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add lobster tails to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Remove lobster tails from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add scallops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Return the lobster tails to the skillet.
- Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and parsley to the skillet.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, basting lobster and scallops with the butter sauce.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
