Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (900 g) frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) butter
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup (15 g) chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake the tater tots for 25-30 minutes until golden and crisp.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet.
  6. Season the shrimp with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  8. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  9. In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat.
  10. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  11. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
  12. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth.
  13. Season the Alfredo sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  14. Stir in the frozen peas and cook until they are heated through.
  15. Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and mix well.
  16. In a large casserole dish, combine the baked tater tots and shrimp mixture.
  17. Sprinkle chopped green onions and parsley over the top.
  18. Bake in the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until heated through.
  19. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
