  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1.25 grams) red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) (60 milliliters) chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (28 grams) beef tallow
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) (15 grams) chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain the spaghetti and set aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Cook the shrimp until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
