Description

A delightful dish of tender chicken marinated in lemon, garlic, and oregano, perfect for grilling or baking.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh veggies or light salad for serving


Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over them. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill or bake for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with fresh veggies or a light salad.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken for at least four hours, or overnight if time permits.
