Description

A luscious lemon cream sauce bursting with vibrant lemon flavor that transforms ordinary seafood or pasta into something extraordinary.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter without burning.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter, sautéing for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, whisking to combine, and simmer for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  6. Serve immediately over pasta, seafood, chicken, or vegetables.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding cream cheese or sour cream during cooking. If the sauce is too thick, whisk in a splash of broth.
