Ingredients
- 1 lb U-10 scallops
- 1½ lemons, juiced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Garlic rubbed crostini, to serve
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- Melt ½ tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook half the scallops for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- Wipe the pan clean and melt the remaining butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add lemon juice and chili flakes.
- Add the scallops back to the pan, coating them in the sauce.
- Serve immediately with garlic-rubbed crostini.
Notes
Rest scallops briefly after cooking to enhance flavor and texture. For variations, consider adding herbs like thyme or dill.
