Description

A delightful dish featuring fish fillets pan-seared and drizzled with a buttery lemon sauce, creating a perfect balance of savory and tangy flavors.

Ingredients

  • Fish fillets (your choice of white fish)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Garlic, minced
  • Lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Once hot, gently place the fish fillets in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  5. Melt butter in the same skillet over low heat, then add minced garlic and cook for about one minute until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, allowing it to simmer for two minutes.
  7. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the fish fillets and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

For best results, use fresh lemons for zest and juice, and ensure the fish fillets are of even thickness for uniform cooking.
