Description

A simple yet delectable dish featuring flaky fish fillets cooked in a rich lemon butter sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of white fish (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (for drizzling on fish fillets)
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Juice and zest of 2 lemons
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry using paper towels and drizzle them with olive oil.
  2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the seasoned fish fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
  4. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and olive oil. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and zest, seasoning with salt and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the cooked fish fillets and garnish with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your Lemon Butter Fish Fillet!

Notes

For extra flavor, let the fish marinate in the seasoning for about 15-30 minutes before cooking.
