Description

Lemon Butter Fish Bites are a delightful way to enjoy fresh fish, coated in a buttery garlic sauce, complemented by a tangy garlic aioli.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 unit lemon zest, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Coat the fish fillets with the seasoned flour mixture by combining flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a shallow dish.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Add the coated fish fillets to the skillet and cook for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and flaky.
  4. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice while cooking to add a tangy brightness.
  5. For the garlic aioli, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, and additional lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the fish bites garnished with lemon zest and fresh parsley, alongside the garlic aioli for dipping.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the fish fillets in the flour mixture. Pair with fresh salad greens or roasted vegetables.
