Description

Delicious lemon butter fish bites paired with a creamy garlic aioli, bringing the essence of coastal dining to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 unit Lemon zest, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice, to taste
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the fish fillets dry using paper towels.
  2. Proceed to slice the fillets into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a shallow dish, whisk together the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Dredge each fish piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coat.
  5. Heat the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Carefully add the floured fish bites to the skillet.
  7. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  8. Once cooked, transfer the fish bites to a plate lined with paper towels.
  9. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice immediately.
  10. While the fish rests, prepare the garlic aioli.
  11. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, and a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
  12. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  13. Finally, plate the golden fish bites and garnish with lemon zest and parsley.
  14. Serve the garlic aioli alongside for dipping.

Notes

Use a light hand when seasoning; fresh fish has great flavor on its own. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fish.
