Description

A delightful dish combining flaky halibut topped with rich crab meat and vibrant asparagus, perfect for special occasions and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1 cup blanched asparagus
  • 1/2 cup hollandaise sauce
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the halibut fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Place the cooked halibut on a serving platter.
  5. Top each fillet with a generous portion of crab meat and a few asparagus spears.
  6. Drizzle hollandaise sauce over the top.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a smoky flavor, consider grilling the halibut instead of searing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
