Description

A beautiful seafood dish featuring seared halibut topped with succulent crab meat, vibrant asparagus, and drizzled with hollandaise sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup asparagus, blanched
  • 1/2 cup hollandaise sauce
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the halibut fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  6. While the halibut is baking, gently warm the crab meat and blanched asparagus in a separate pan.
  7. To serve, place the halibut on a plate, top with crab meat and asparagus, and drizzle with hollandaise sauce.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
