Description

Delicious grilled shrimp skewers infused with a spicy and creamy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined with tails left on)
  • 1.5 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup mayo (preferably Hellmann’s)
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce (like Mae Ploy)
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • Scallions (thinly sliced on the bias for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk together the canola oil, garlic powder, and lime juice in a bowl.
  3. Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Allow them to marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Skewer the marinated shrimp, ensuring you space them out evenly on the skewer.
  5. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a nice char and appear opaque.
  6. Mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and remaining lime juice in a separate bowl for the Bang Bang sauce.
  7. Remove the shrimp from the grill and drizzle with the sauce, garnishing with sliced scallions.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the marinade. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
