Description
Delicious grilled shrimp skewers infused with a spicy and creamy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined with tails left on)
- 1.5 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup mayo (preferably Hellmann’s)
- 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce (like Mae Ploy)
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- Scallions (thinly sliced on the bias for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Whisk together the canola oil, garlic powder, and lime juice in a bowl.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Allow them to marinate for 15 minutes.
- Skewer the marinated shrimp, ensuring you space them out evenly on the skewer.
- Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a nice char and appear opaque.
- Mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and remaining lime juice in a separate bowl for the Bang Bang sauce.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and drizzle with the sauce, garnishing with sliced scallions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the marinade. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
