Ingredients
- 1lb (454 g) shrimp medium to large
- 5 Tbsp (23 ml) olive oil or grapeseed oil
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) sweet paprika or smoked
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) onion powder
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) black pepper
- To garnish lemon wedges, sprinkle of fresh parsley
Instructions
- If necessary, peel and devein the shrimp, then pat them dry using paper towels.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to heat it up.
- In a small bowl, combine the paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the olive oil and mix thoroughly.
- Put the shrimp in a bowl and drizzle the seasoning mixture over them. Toss to ensure they are evenly coated, or use your hands to rub the mixture all over.
- Lay the shrimp out in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If needed, cook them in batches for optimal results.
- Cook in the air fryer for 6 minutes at 400°F (200°C), turning them over halfway through. Larger shrimp may need 8-9 minutes. When done, serve the shrimp with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
