Ingredients

  • 1lb (454 g) shrimp medium to large
  • 5 Tbsp (23 ml) olive oil or grapeseed oil
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) sweet paprika or smoked
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) black pepper
  • To garnish lemon wedges, sprinkle of fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. If necessary, peel and devein the shrimp, then pat them dry using paper towels.
  2. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to heat it up.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the olive oil and mix thoroughly.
  4. Put the shrimp in a bowl and drizzle the seasoning mixture over them. Toss to ensure they are evenly coated, or use your hands to rub the mixture all over.
  5. Lay the shrimp out in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If needed, cook them in batches for optimal results.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 6 minutes at 400°F (200°C), turning them over halfway through. Larger shrimp may need 8-9 minutes. When done, serve the shrimp with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
