A vibrant and comforting dish featuring succulent shrimp coated in jerk seasoning, enveloped in a creamy sauce tossed with fettuccine.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with jerk seasoning until well coated.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the sauce, mixing well to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a spicy twist, add cayenne pepper or jalapeño. Serve with a fresh garden salad for a complete meal.
