Description

A delightful salmon dish glazed with a sweet and savory mix, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, coating the tops and sides.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For added flavor, let the salmon marinate in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking. Consider using skin-on salmon fillets for extra crispiness.
