A delightful salmon dish glazed with a sweet and savory mix, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, coating the tops and sides.
- Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
For added flavor, let the salmon marinate in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking. Consider using skin-on salmon fillets for extra crispiness.
