Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by whisking together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated, and let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Cook the marinated shrimp in a single layer for about 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway through until they turn pink and opaque.
- Steam or sauté the mixed vegetables in a separate pot until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Assemble the bowls by placing a serving of rice in each bowl, topping it with shrimp and vegetables. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
