Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated in a spicy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 fillets of Salmon (or substitute with halibut or trout)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (or avocado oil for high-heat)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (or fresh garlic for extra flavor)
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (regular paprika works as a substitute)
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
- 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar or Lime Juice
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey (if using), lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add salmon fillets, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove salmon from the pan and drizzle the prepared sauce over the top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for 15 minutes before cooking. Feel free to adjust the Sriracha for your preferred spice level.
