Description

A delightful dish featuring salmon fillets drizzled with a spicy-sweet hot honey glaze, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • ¼ cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the hot honey, olive oil, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Arrange the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Brush the hot honey mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. For a caramelized finish, switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes, carefully watching to avoid burning.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish.
  8. Transfer the salmon to a serving platter and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor. For even deeper flavor, let the salmon marinate in the hot honey mixture for an hour or two before cooking.
