Description

A deliciously glazed salmon fillet topped with hot honey, garlic, and lemon for a sweet and savory coastal-inspired dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (170 g or 6 oz each)
  • 80 ml hot honey (1/3 cup)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) lemon juice
  • 5 g (1 tsp) smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the hot honey, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the hot honey glaze generously over each fillet, making sure to coat them evenly.
  4. Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, let the glazed salmon marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking.
