A deliciously glazed salmon fillet topped with hot honey, garlic, and lemon for a sweet and savory coastal-inspired dish.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (170 g or 6 oz each)
- 80 ml hot honey (1/3 cup)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) lemon juice
- 5 g (1 tsp) smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the hot honey, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the hot honey glaze generously over each fillet, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, let the glazed salmon marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking.
