Description

A delightful seafood dish featuring crispy shrimp coated in a sweet and creamy sauce, topped with toasted walnuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, condensed milk, and lemon juice; mix well. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Dredge shrimp in cornstarch, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Fry shrimp in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. In a bowl, combine the fried shrimp with the sauce and gently toss to coat.
  6. Toast the walnuts in a dry pan until golden, then sprinkle over the coated shrimp.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately to maintain the crispiness of the shrimp. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce to your preference.
