Description

A delightful blend of crispy shrimp, sweet honey sauce, and toasted walnuts that creates an unforgettable dish ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup tempura batter mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the tempura batter with water. Dip the shrimp into the batter and fry them until golden brown.
  2. In a separate pan, toast the walnuts until golden.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine honey, mayonnaise, heavy cream, and sesame oil; heat gently.
  4. Toss the fried shrimp with the honey sauce and walnuts.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double-dipping the shrimp in flour before the tempura batter.
