Description

A delightful dish combining succulent shrimp with crunchy candied walnuts and a creamy sauce for a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, honey, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice to create the sauce. Set aside.
  2. Toss the shrimp with cornstarch and a pinch of salt, then dip them in beaten egg.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp until golden and crispy.
  4. In a separate pan, candy the walnuts with honey until they are crunchy.
  5. Toss the fried shrimp with the creamy sauce and the candied walnuts. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and avoid overcrowding the pan while frying to achieve an even crispy texture.
