  • 1 pound (454 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s honey (30 milliliters)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s Sriracha sauce (30 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce (15 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice (15 milliliters)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s olive oil (30 milliliters)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pits.
  2. Scoop out a bit of the flesh from each avocado half to create a larger cavity.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  6. In a small bowl, mix honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice.
  7. Pour the sauce over the cooked shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Remove the skillet from heat and let the shrimp cool slightly.
  10. Fill each avocado half with a generous portion of the shrimp mixture.
  11. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
  12. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For a sweeter flavor, consider adding extra honey to the sauce mixture before drizzling it over the shrimp.
  • Ensure the shrimp is properly deveined before cooking to prevent any unwanted textures in the dish.
  • Adjust the amount of Sriracha sauce to your liking for the desired level of spiciness.
