Description

A simple and flavorful dish featuring salmon fillets glazed with honey, garlic, and soy sauce, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place a baking sheet or oven-safe dish in the oven to heat up while you prepare the salmon.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
  4. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Season the fillets with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper, rubbing the seasoning evenly over the surface of the fish.
  6. In a small mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Stir until well mixed.
  7. Place the salmon fillets on the preheated baking sheet skin-side down if applicable.
  8. Spoon or brush the honey mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  9. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork. Check periodically to avoid overcooking.
  10. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  11. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the top before serving.
  12. Serve immediately, paired with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey-soy mixture for 30 minutes before baking. Don’t skip drying the salmon, and preheat your baking pan for the best results.
