Description

A quick and delicious honey garlic shrimp dish that combines sweet and savory flavors in a glossy glaze, perfect for busy evenings or celebratory feasts.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, allowing it to warm up for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they start turning pink.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring to coat.
  5. Once cooked, garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the shrimp in the honey garlic mixture for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Pair with steamed rice or fresh salad.
