Description

A simple yet flavorful dish that balances sweet honey and spicy sriracha with tender salmon, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp blackening seasoning (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and blackening seasoning (if using). Set aside.
  2. Add butter and olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted, add minced garlic, water, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and lemon juice. Cook for about 30 seconds until heated through.
  3. Add the salmon to the skillet and coat each piece in the sauce. Broil for 6-10 minutes according to desired doneness.

Notes

Marinating the salmon in the sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking can enhance flavors. Adjust salt content as necessary due to soy sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for added texture.
