Description

A delightful dish featuring salmon fillets marinated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down in the skillet.
  5. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with remaining marinade during the last minute of cooking.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. For added zest, include lemon peel in the marinade. Can be made ahead by marinating the salmon and refrigerating before cooking.
