Description

A delicious and easy honey butter salmon recipe, perfect for cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh thyme and parsley for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each fillet. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined.
  4. Generously brush the honey-butter glaze over the top and sides of each salmon fillet, reserving about a quarter of the glaze for later.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, brushing the salmon with more reserved glaze halfway through cooking.
  6. While the salmon bakes, bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the trimmed green beans, and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven, let it rest for 2-3 minutes, and then transfer each fillet to a serving plate.
  8. Drizzle with any remaining glaze and garnish with fresh thyme and parsley. Serve immediately alongside the green beans.

Notes

For a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2-3 days.
