Description
A delicious and easy honey butter salmon recipe, perfect for cozy family dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Fresh thyme and parsley for garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each fillet. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Generously brush the honey-butter glaze over the top and sides of each salmon fillet, reserving about a quarter of the glaze for later.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, brushing the salmon with more reserved glaze halfway through cooking.
- While the salmon bakes, bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the trimmed green beans, and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Remove the salmon from the oven, let it rest for 2-3 minutes, and then transfer each fillet to a serving plate.
- Drizzle with any remaining glaze and garnish with fresh thyme and parsley. Serve immediately alongside the green beans.
Notes
For a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2-3 days.
