Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) salmon fillet, skin removed (450 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey (30 milliliters)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce (15 milliliters)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lime juice (5 milliliters)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Season the salmon cubes with salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the salmon cubes to the skillet in a single layer.
  5. Cook the salmon for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  8. Add minced garlic to the butter and sauté for 1 minute.
