Description

A classic shrimp cocktail featuring fresh shrimp and zesty cocktail sauce, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl to make the cocktail sauce.
  6. Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure even cooking. Chill the shrimp briefly after cooking for a refreshing bite.
