Description

Experience the joy of a homemade crab feast with fresh crab, garlic butter, and the essence of coastal dining.

Ingredients

  • Fresh crab (Dungeness, King, or Blue)
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a large pot of water with lemon slices, salt, and fresh herbs and bring to a boil.
  2. Melt butter in a pan and finely chop garlic.
  3. Clean the crab and place it gently in the boiling water; cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove crab when done and let excess water drain off.
  5. Sauté garlic in butter until fragrant, then add the cooked crab to the pan and toss in the garlic butter.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Use live crabs for the best flavor. Handle shells gently to avoid breakage. Store leftover crab in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
