Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Marinate the shrimp in the sauce for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated shrimp along with the sauce.
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  5. Serve the shrimp over steamed rice or with your choice of vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of sesame oil or a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes. Be sure not to overcook the shrimp!
